Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, I now call Whistler my home. I have spent the last 15 years traveling the globe as a professional mountain bike athlete and brand ambassador – I have represented Canada at the Downhill World Championships, been in countless ad campaigns and magazine articles and played a pivotal role with the introduction of women’s specific mountain bike events.  In addition, I have an established reputation as a first class mountain bike coach and have contributed to the success of many mountain bike riders and athletes.

After obtaining my degree in Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia and getting my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, I began training recreational, elite and aspiring athletes of all disciplines.

In November 2017, we welcomed baby Anna to the world, and I quickly realized the lack of support and information available for pregnant and postpartum women who want to maintain or resume fitness on any level.  After obtaining certifications in PP&A (Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism) and PCES (Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist), I now have a particular interest in helping and training this population as they navigate the journey.

The character, skill and personality of Katrina inspires the next generation of cyclists and promotes the sport well beyond simple race results. I can’t say enough great things about her coaching and her support at the youth level, which has made all those involved cyclist’s for life. It is clear that she loves what she does and that the joy of simply riding a bike has inspired many of them. Well done!
