This mountain bike skill development program is designed to help the young rider develop and refine their off road riding!
A fun, social and safe program designed for children of any riding ability, and an opportunity for children to learn and experience:

The basics of riding off road to more advanced bike handling skills.

Challenges that suit the level of the child.

Trail etiquette.
-
Bike maintenance.
-
A deeper connection to nature.
Whether your child has plenty of off road experience or none at all, they will learn at their own pace and will be grouped accordingly.
Essentials needed are:

Basic cycling skills, children must be able to start bike on their own.

A bike in good working order (must have gears and hand brakes!).

A properly fitted helmet.

Bike gloves.
-
Water and snacks (!!!).

Co-ed: 8 weeks; Tuesdays May 6th - June 24th 3:30-5:30

Bike Park 101: Intro to Whistler Bike Park
Who: 6-10 years old co-ed
​
When: June 14th; 9:30-4
​
Where: Whistler Bike Park

Cost: $295*
*Does not include bike park tickets. Available at a discounted rate of $37 + GST / ticket.

*Does not include lunch. Participants are responsible for bringing their own lunch. Storage available!

So, your child wants to experience the Whistler Bike Park! Bike Park 101 is designed for intermediate young riders who are ready to explore the park in a fun, social, and safe way.
​
This program is perfect for children with off-road experience who are ready to explore the excitement of the Whistler Bike Park while learning essential skills and park safety.

What your child will learn and experience:

The trail network of the Whistler Bike Park.

Bike park etiquette to keep themselves and others safe.

How to choose trails and features that match their skill level.

Fun challenges tailored to their ability.

Essentials needed:

Minimum skill level: Intermediate (Check out the ability chart HERE, or contact us to enquire)

A bike in great working order: Must have gears, hand brakes, disc brakes and at a minimum front suspension.

Safety gear: A properly fitted full-face helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and bike gloves.

Extras: Water and snacks (hydration and energy are key!).
Bike Park 201: Level Up in Whistler Bike Park
Who: 8-12 years old co-ed

When: June 28th; 9:30-4

Where: Whistler Bike Park

Cost: $295*

Bike Park 201 is designed for Intermediate+ to Advanced youth riders and are ready for more challenging terrain and advanced skills.

This program is perfect for riders looking to build confidence and refine their technique in a fun, supportive, and safe environment while tackling the park's next-level features.

Advanced trail exploration in the Whistler Bike Park.

Refined bike park etiquette for dynamic riding environments.

Techniques for navigating steeper trails, technical features, and challenging terrain.

Air essentials: foundational jumping and dropping skills for safe and confident progression.

A bike in great working order: Must have gears, hand brakes, and be suitable for advanced terrain.

Safety gear: A properly fitted full-face helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, bike gloves, and optional chest/back protection.
